Courses


Course materials include training manuals, quick references and instructor guides. Each training session is structured into relevant sections with demonstrations, explanation and exercises.

At the end of each class is a short lab session enabling participants to explore the course materials at their own pace. Some courses also include sample applications for users to take away.

Broker Action Training 101


This course offers an introduction to Marlborough Stirling and the MorWEB product, and describes what MorWEB can do for brokers. Topics include:

  • Getting started and navigating through MorWEB
  • Creating and managing customer records, including working with multiple applicants
  • Creating new applications, including second and subsequent mortgages
  • Entering loan details, adding multiple quotes and choosing lender products
  • Document management basics - generating and attaching documents to the application
  • Application processing - interacting with lenders, accepting the lender decision, responding to condition requirements and taking the deal to the funded stage
  • Lab session - an opportunity to work though sample applications and gain hands-on familiarity with MorWEB

Broker Action Training 201


This course comprises an in-depth look at concepts within MorWEB, including:

  • Managing your organization structure within MorWEB - adding and editing users
  • Advanced document management - managing documents more effectively using our document imaging system and using fax software to improve business efficiency
  • Advanced task management - adding, editing or postponing tasks, or reassigning them to other users
  • Using reports to track applications, keeping tabs on the pipeline and allocating commissions
  • Using MorWEB's memo features to make personal notes against an application, and using the contact history feature to manage customer relationships

Approximately 2 hours duration


Lender Training for Underwriters using MorWEB Lender


This course offers an introduction to Marlborough Stirling and the MorWEB product, and describes what MorWEB can do for lenders from an Underwriter's perspective. Topics include:

  • Getting started and navigating through MorWEB
  • Managing your workload and carrying out the tasks due for each application
  • Viewing summary information for the application and drilling down to get detailed information from the broker information capture screens
  • Underwriting the application - accessing credit reports, communicating with the broker, attaching conditions to an approval and generating documentation
  • Lab session - an opportunity to work though sample applications and gain hands-on familiarity with MorWEB

Approximately 2.5 hours duration


Lender Training for Managers/System Administrators using MorWEB Lender


This course presents more advanced concepts that are specifically applicable to senior lender personnel and system administrators, such as:

  • Managing your organization structure within MorWEB - adding and editing users
  • Adding and updating product information
  • Adding or editing condition templates
  • Using reports to track applications and manage your team

Approximately 1.5 hours duration


Lender Training for Users of MorWEB Bridge


This course presents MorWEB features that are specifically applicable to lenders using a bridge between MorWEB and their own in-house underwriting systems. The content of this course will vary depending on the lender's system capabilities:

  • Managing your organization structure within MorWEB - adding and editing users
  • Adding and updating product information
  • Receiving documents from brokers
  • Responding to brokers
